It feels pretty good to slip away quietly and just disappear for a little while. My hands and head has been full of things lately and I simply don’t want to do anything. It’s been good and my study break has just begun! 3 days of exams and my holidays shall begin and I will smile because impending freedom is coming!

New heels (finally) arrived in the mail! I didn’t know when I ordered… that the heel is 10cm tall. Man, it’s gonna be hard to find a chance to wear it out. I don’t like the idea of wearing something that increases the possibility of me tripping from 1:100 to 70:100. Haha.

Fashion is a wonderful thing. Once you’ve established that you’re someone who’s willing to go the extra mile to be, well, fashionable, no one’s gonna pinpoint you for wearing completely impractical stuff.

But with that said, I’m really curious how girls above 162cm are willing and able to put on heels more than once a week. Why 162cm? Because most pretty heels range from 6cm-12cm. Of course 10-12cm is slightly bordering on ridiculous and you should never be on public transport with that because you’re gonna fall from all the jerking trains and braking buses and what-not. So basically 162cm + 6cm will be a nice height of 168cm, and 162cm + 10cm will be a pretty “okay” height of 172cm. Well in Singapore anyway. I mean in European/Caucasian countries, that’s the average height of females without heels. So meh to us asians.

With that said, I’m beginning to want to wear heels on a more frequent basis. When I say heels, I mean heels with 5cm or more height. (I mean, heels with any lesser than that don’t look very fashionable… or sexy, or anything. Right? Neither do they look very attractive on the shelf) They just look very office-lady and makes you look slightly… old.

Ah, heels are just perfect for completing the look sometimes, while flats just ruin it by making it look so casual.

I just hate how heels make me slouch. I’m not short, but neither am I tall, just slightly above average (Singaporean standard), but I have to bend down awkwardly if I want to be part of a conversation, and that’s just tiring in itself. Also, you get judged if you’re above average height and still wearing heels. Everyone’s thinking “You’re already so tall, what’s with the heels man?” - I hate those judgmental eyes, haha.

Bah. The dilemma.
